PARSER GUIDES
Choosing a Document Type
Pick the best document processing type when you create a parser
Choose the Document Processing Type that most closely matches the documents this parser will receive. This gives PARSER a better starting point for fields, tables, and extraction.
Make the choice in three steps
Start with the document you receive
Choose the closest available type:

Custom document
The setup screen contains additional types for finance, logistics, HR, identity, healthcare, real estate, investment, and classification workflows. Search using the name people normally use for the document.
Keep different document types separate
Use one parser for one extraction setup. For example, create separate parsers for invoices and bank statements.
If the same inbox or upload contains mixed documents, use a Document Classifier to send each file to the correct parser.
Test one representative document
Choose a real example that contains the fields and tables you normally need. Review the first result before processing a large batch.
If the result is poor across several documents, try a more suitable type or create a Custom document parser with fields written specifically for your workflow.
Where to choose it
1. Click Create Document Parser.
2. Enter a Parser Name.
3. Search or browse under Document Processing Type.
4. Select the closest match and continue.
