Import Documents with Pabbly Connect

Send files from another Pabbly Connect app into PARSER

Create a Pabbly Connect workflow that sends documents from another app into PARSER.

Before continuing, connect PARSER to Pabbly Connect.

Add the source app

Create a workflow and add the app that provides the document.

Add PARSER

Add PARSER app as the next app and choose Upload a Document.

Choose the destination

In Parser or Classifier, choose:

• A parser when every file uses the same extraction fields
• A classifier when the source contains mixed document types

Map the document

Choose one source:

• File - Map the downloadable file supplied by the earlier step.
• File URL - Map a direct link that downloads without sign-in.

Add File Name only when you want to replace the original name.

Test and enable it

1. Save and test the action.

2. Confirm that the document appears in PARSER.

3. Enable the workflow.

What success looks like

The workflow creates one new document in the selected parser or classifier whenever the source event occurs.

To send the completed fields somewhere else, create a separate processed-data workflow.

If it does not work

• Refresh the PARSER step if a parser or classifier is missing.
• Check the API key's parser access.
• Open a file URL in a private browser window to confirm that it downloads without signing in.
• Confirm that the selected destination accepts the file type.
