PARSER GUIDES
Choose the Right PARSER Email Address
Ways to Add DocumentsEmail Tutorials
Decide whether an email should go to a parser, folder, or document classifier
PARSER provides different inbox addresses depending on where you want a document to go. Choosing the right address saves you from sorting documents later.
Send to a parser
Use a parser email address when every attachment is the same type of document and should use the same fields.
Example:
contact@parser.example
An invoice sent to this address appears in that parser's Document Inbox and is processed using the parser's fields and settings.
To copy the address:
1. Open the parser.
2. Go to its Document Inbox.
3. Find the inbox email address near the top of the page.
4. Click the copy button.

Use a folder email address when the document should also be placed into a particular client, project, or month folder.
Example:
contact@parser.example
The document still uses the parser's fields, but it enters the selected folder automatically.
To copy a folder address:
1. Open the parser's Document Inbox.
2. Find the folder in the folder sidebar.
3. Open the folder menu.
4. Click Copy folder email.
You can also find it in the folder settings.

Use a document classifier email address when one email or mailbox can contain several document types.
For example, a shared accounts mailbox may receive:
- Invoices
- Purchase orders
- Receipts
- Bank statements
The classifier checks each attachment and routes it to the matching parser.
To copy the address:
1. Open Document Classifiers.
2. Select the classifier.
3. Copy the Email address shown in its settings or header.

Keep inbox addresses private
Anyone who knows an inbox address may be able to send documents to it. Use Sender access in email settings when you want to accept only selected email addresses or domains.
